Q. How could I know whether my sound card is in full-duplex? A. Follow the instruction to open the "Recorder" window: Startup -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Recorder Repeat the above instruction to open the second Recorder window. Use one of the recorders to record sound and play it. While the first recorder is playing, use the second one to record. If a message "Another recorder is in use. Please stop it before recording can continue" appears, the sound card is in half-duplex only. If the message does not appear and recording continues, the sound card is in full-duplex.   BACK
